When I was first planning to get together with Carolyn and Glenn we had arranged to meet at Philz Coffee in Palo Alto (which might just serve the bet cup-o-joe in the world!) and Carolyn told me, “we’ll be the one’s on the motorcycle!” Sure enough, we met on a gorgeous Sunday, and in rolls a sport bike looking like it could do about 150 mph in about 4 seconds. I asked, “Do you guys roll like that all the time???” Carolyn looked at me as if she could think of nothing better in the world to do and with a big ol smile she says, “YEP!!!” Obviously this is a huge passion for these two… I was hoping we could somehow incorporate the bike into our shoot, but our timing was a little bit off. The weather was functkafied, and they were just moving to a new pad in Fremont, so we instead opted for an engagement session in downtown San Jose. We met near San Pedro Square and just walked around downtown snapping away, chatting, and laughing the entire time. I love engagement sessions like this. They are mini-adventures and you don’t really know what you are going to find. Here are a few of my favorites from the session and I can not wait to shoot their wedding in just a few weeks down in Monterey!
